Bob Lightfoote Memorial Scholarship

2011 Recipient:  The scholarship was presented to Caroline Murphy of Lake George as the winner of the 3rd annual Bob Lightfoote Memorial Scholarship during the break between the morning session and afternoon session of the tournament.  Caroline is involved in many extracurricular and community activities, including National Honor Society and Jazz Band. She will attend the College of Saint Rose in the fall, where she will study graphic design, psychology and Spanish.

2010 Recipient:The Robert Lightfoote Memorial Scholarship was awarded to Spencer Thibault from Lake George. Spencer who just graduated from Lake George High School will be attending Liberty College this fall. He has played soccer since 7th grade and outdoor soccer for Adirondack Soccer Club. Making the presentation is Mrs. Diane Lightfoote and club co-president Ron Wolfe.

2009 Recipient:Adirondack Soccer Club awarded its first annual Robert Lightfoote Memorial Scholarship at the Town of Queensbury’s dedication of the Ridge-Jenkinsville fields. The inaugural winner was Ryan Conklin, a longtime club member and 2008 graduate of Glens Falls High School who attends Ithaca College . The scholarship was created in honor of Robert Lightfoote, who spent many years as coach and registrar for the club.
